TEACHING + WORKSHOPS

With topics ranging from practical electro-acoustic composition techniques to histories of hearing and engagements of sound with climate/environmental studies, Hertz has conducted participatory workshops, guest teaching, and artist-in-residence positions at a variety of cultural and academic institutions. Hertz offers participatory teaching and workshop engagements that combine theoretical perspectives with creative exercises and material development, and utilize techniques and practices from the fields of sound art, psycho/geography, contemporary performance/dance.
