Beachfront Property I + II

Beachfront Property are twin textual compositions. Comprised of flashing lights, imperceptibly moving images, puns, jokes, and conversations, these text compositions are meant to function somewhat similarly to the hypnotic impulse of the Dream Machine. Viewers are offered the chance to watch with eyes open or closed. Navigating the encroaching waters of rising oceans, the language investigates various ways in which our bodies, minds, and histories are implicated in atmospheric and oceanic modes of being.
